Insignia on M: Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery

The Navy Yard has a new addition, Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery. Originally hailing from New York City with cafes in Midtown and the West Village, the James Beard-nominated chain’s newest expansion has brought them to the Capitol City! The elevated bakery/ cafe offers a wide selection of decadent sweet and savory pastries, cookies, cakes, and coffee beverages for all palettes. 

The shop already seems to have some regulars and they’re all raving about the oat milk draft lattes and the flaky baked goods. The coffee served is La Colombe, so you know it’s going to be high quality. In terms of pastries, you have a selection to choose from. If savory is more your style, grab the jalapeno cheddar scone. Sweet tooth? Try the toffee brioche topped high with toffee sauce and pecans. 

You can walk-in and order, or easily order online for pickup or delivery. Is there anything better than getting fresh baked goods delivered right to your door on a Sunday morning? We think not!
