New Orleans native Chef David Guas makes the perfect host for the Mardi Gras Extravaganza, slated to take place at Union Market’s Dock 5 on Fat Tuesday. From 6 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, the Mardi Gras celebrations unfold with plenty of authentic NoLa food and drink, as well as live music and dancing.
While Chef David and other renowned chefs craft everything from po’boys to jambalaya, seasoned mixologist Gina Cherservani will oversee 12 innovative bartenders as they compete to create the Best Hurricane Cocktail. Join in the fun happening in New Orleans with a live broadcast of Bourbon Street splashed across a huge screen and dance to the up-tempo tunes of local bands at the Mardi Gras Extravaganza. Tickets are $50, and proceeds benefit a local charity that fights hunger.
