Bulleit Bourbon. Westward Whiskey. KO Distilling. With sponsors like these, it’s pretty easy to see why The Whisky Extravaganza is so named. It brings together some of the best purveyors of spirits at venues all across the country, ensuring fans everywhere have equal access to their top-notch spirits—particularly, the whisky.
The celebration is coming to the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. on Friday, November 15th, and there are two ways you can participate. If you’re really just in it for the booze, the Dram & Bites admission package ($95) is the perfect option. It gets you into the tasting from 7:30 to 10 p.m., which includes unlimited samples of whisky in your souvenir glass, along with complimentary noshes. However, if you want to learn more about the art of making and sipping whisky, opt for the Connoisseur admission package ($195). It includes the food and drink tastings, as well as entry to the Connoisseur Masterclass, which will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
