DC Beer Week Is Back!

Today marks the return of DC Beer Week! Intending to “promote and grow the DC area’s craft beer culture,” this eight-day festival invites area beer enthusiasts to celebrate their love of brewski through limited-edition tastings, educational seminars, special events, and much more,  all hosted and/or planned by local businesses — think breweries and restaurants.

This year’s DC Beer Week calendar lists everything from coworking events and yappy hours to bingo nights and Oktoberfests, and it all begins today with a kickoff party at Bluejacket. Starting at noon, the brewery will be pouring pints of Solidarity Beer 2019, a German-style lager and the official beer of this year’s DC Beer Week. Special brews from other local breweries will also be available, along with limited-edition DC Beer Week merch. The beers will be priced by the glass, but the party is free to attend, so don’t miss out!
