Valor Brewpub: Enjoy Artisan Food and Craft Beer for a Good Cause

Owner Gaynor Jablonski opened Valor Brewpub two months ago as part of his mission to honor the memory of his grandfather, a Navy veteran. Valor hires veterans, donates to veteran-focused charities, and collaborates with veteran-owned businesses whenever possible. Jablonski’s secondary aim is to serve some of the best American and global foods and craft brews in DC, and he definitely accomplishes this goal.

Come to Valor Brewpub for a bite and a drink for proof. Start with a small plate like the KFC, which features Korean fried chicken wings with sweet and tangy black vinegar, crushed peanuts, and Thai basil. Then move onto a main plate such as the Valor Burger, showcasing a patty of Halpern Farm ground beef with smoked cheddar, smoked bacon, local tomato, arugula, mushroom, and griddled onions on top.
