Check Out The Wharf Ice Rink for Some Winter Fun
Located on the southwest waterfront, The Wharf Ice Rink offers beautiful skating views as you glide across the riverfront ice underneath the evening glow of twinkling lights. Starting December 2nd, the rink offers skating lessons for children ages four to 11, as well as fun themed nights, such as Rock ‘N Skate with a live DJ on Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. While you’re there, treat yourself to some hot beverages and seasonal specialties at the nearby restaurants. The location has become a destination with 20-plus new restaurants and bars, shops from local artisans and global brands, and three music venues.
Admission to the skating rink is $10 for adults and $8 for children. There is a $2 discount for active military and senior citizens with valid ID. Also, local residents receive a $2 discount on Mondays with valid ID. Skate rentals are $6, and gloves and socks are $5.
